Mosman Yoga Co-op News …

Our next FREE monthly Community Yoga Class will take place on Sunday 26th April at 9am at Balmoral Beach near the Rotunda.
You will need to bring a yoga mat and/or towel and it may be wise to bring a bottle of water too. 
The teacher this month is Simone Selby.
The class will be cancelled if it is raining or the ground is wet.

The Joy of Yoga at Balmoral Community Class!

Words from a participant of Sunday's Community Class....

There aren't many nicer things than doing a yoga class by the beach, listening to the water and the birds and feeling the breeze across your face. I felt so connected with the environment.

So far, I have had the opportunity to experience (free) classes from three beautiful teachers from the Co-op, who have all been warm and friendly and each one offers unique qualities. They have taught me new stretches which I have incorporated into my own practice.

I am already looking forward to next month. 

It amazes me that such a beautiful experience is free- What a wonderful way to give back to the community!                                (Stephanie)

June Newsletter 
Our Community Class is on this Sunday at 9am
Our monthly FREE Community Yoga Class is on this Sunday morning, 30th June at 9am at Balmoral Beach near the Rotunda.
You need to bring a yoga mat and/or towel and it may be wise to bring a bottle of water too. Wear layers, as it may get a little chilly.
The teacher this month is Glenda Ford. Glenda has been teaching yoga since 2002. She brings a rich understanding of anatomy to her yoga classes, weaving the principles of alignment with yoga philosophy to create a safe practice space.
If it’s been raining please check back to this website for an update, as the class won't go ahead if the ground is too wet.
There are a few classes on during the winter break…
Although most of us are now enjoying a 2-week term break, Graham’s Tuesday and Thursday 7pm classes and 7.30am Saturday class continues. You are most welcome to drop in for a casual class.
Our full timetable resumes on Monday 15th July. Class bookings are now being taken.

Choc Ball Delights ...

Glenda's chocolate balls have been a talking point at many of the tea gatherings after her Yin Yoga or Divine Feminine events and she's kindly agreed to share her recipe for this super healthy guilt free treat for all occasions and all ages! Enjoy ...

3 cups of pitted dates soaked in warm water for 30 minutes, then drained
7 tbs raw organic cacao powder
3 cups almond meal
1 tsp pure vanilla (not imitation)
3 tbs orange peel grated or finely chopped
Desiccated coconut

Process dates, cacao powder, almond meal and vanilla in a food processor until well blended.
Transfer to a bowl and mix in orange peel.
Sprinkle coconut onto a plate.
Roll a tbs of mixture by hand into a ball and roll in the coconut.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours and have a ball!! (makes approx 30 balls)

April Yoga Newsletter
