Mosman Yoga Co-op FREE Community Class for March 2014







Our monthly FREE community class is on Sunday 30th March, held at the Balmoral Rotunda at 8am 

Please wear layers for breeze and sun protection and bring a towel to place between your mat and the grass.
If it has been raining please check back to our website www.mosmanyoga.com for an update as the class will not go ahead if the ground is too wet.
This month's teacher is Graham Wing.  A great way to start the day with a clear, calm positive frame of mind and feeling full of energy.

Other Co-op news :

Farewell and good luck to Nicolette who is expecting her first child in a few months. She will return to teaching later in 2014.
Robin Hyett is also not teaching this term, but will recommence her classes in term 2.
Suzy Flowers has moved her classes from the Co-op and is now teaching at Yoga Sivana, in Mosman.

Mosman Yoga Co-op News …

This coming Sunday 24th November is our free community class held at the Balmoral Rotunda at 8am .

This months teacher is Robin Hyett. Robin aims to provide newcomers to Hatha yoga with a sense of acceptance, self-belief, and inner calm through relaxation.  She brings a warm, compassionate approach and understanding of foundation poses, alignment and breath awareness. Emphasis is placed on safety and attention to student’s wellbeing. She is eager to share her knowledge of the benefits of yoga with the community.
Please bring a large beach towel to place under your mat for this months class.

Only 4 weeks left until the end of term
A reminder to all students who have purchased a term pass - that make up classes need to be completed before the end of this term. You are welcome to attend any class just give the teacher a call before hand. Encourage friends and family who have not experienced a yoga class at the Co-op to come along before the end of Term 4 and try a yoga class for free! All teachers are inviting new students to experience the beauty and benefits of practicing yoga. Please just contact the teacher to let them know before you attend.

Farewell to Nicolette
We wish Nicolette and her husband Steve all the very best as they prepare for the birth of their baby next year. Nicolette will be taking a break at the end of this term and will return to teaching at the co-op late next year. Her classes will continue with Robin and Suzy teaching.

The Joy of Yoga at Balmoral Community Class!


Words from a participant of Sunday's Community Class....

There aren't many nicer things than doing a yoga class by the beach, listening to the water and the birds and feeling the breeze across your face. I felt so connected with the environment.

So far, I have had the opportunity to experience (free) classes from three beautiful teachers from the Co-op, who have all been warm and friendly and each one offers unique qualities. They have taught me new stretches which I have incorporated into my own practice.

I am already looking forward to next month. 

It amazes me that such a beautiful experience is free- What a wonderful way to give back to the community!                                (Stephanie)

Next Months Balmoral Community Class will be taught by Robin on Sunday 24th November - See you there!

Mosman Yoga Co-op October News …

This months teacher is Simone Selby. Simone is a practising physiotherapist and pilates instructor with an interest in teaching sufferers of chronic pain to exercise their way out of pain through posture correction and core strengthening.

This Sundays class will give the participants the tools they need to recognise old postural  habits that cause back and neck problems and will teach the students how to effectively engage the core to support and decompress the spine .

Please bring a large beach towel to place under your mat for this months class.

Encourage friends and family who have not experienced a yoga class at the Co-op to come along in Term 4 and try a yoga class for free!
